Sending jobsite text alerts
Last updated:
With Cascade, one text alert reaches everyone on the job's crew list: subs, superintendents and foremen. Superintendents and the office can both send alerts, to the whole job or to one group such as a single sub's crew. Recipients reply by text, and you see who got the alert and who answered. Nobody needs an app.
Who can send
Superintendents in the field and the office can both send alerts.
Who receives
Everyone on the job's crew list, or a group you pick, such as one sub's crew. The crew list is the same list Cascade uses for daily reports, so there is no second list to keep up.
Replies
Recipients reply by text. You see who received the alert and who answered, so you can confirm an area is clear or a gate change is understood without calling people one at a time.
Common alerts
- Crane pick, clear an area
- Site closed for wind or weather
- Safety stand-down
- Delivery gate change
- Inspection moved
